Grungy Bear, Fred E Bear
No matter how tattered or torn, we will always love our teddy bears.
Fred E. is wearing his cone hat fashioned from an old paper sack. I have woven an old grosgrain ribbon through the bottom edge of the hat for the ruffle and then added some bells. A tattered grosgrain ribbon has been tied around his neck. It also has bells attached to it. In his paw he is holding a wooden ABC block. This great grungy bear looks as if he has been around for years and just pulled out of this old leather trunk. Fred E. Bear has a great "worn" look. His fur is stained, matted, stiff, waxed and is shaved in various places. His ear looks as if it has been sewn back on with red thread and a safety pin is attached, just in case...... His tummy has been "stitched up" with black thread. One arm has a large plaid patch, while the other one has been sewn back on with black thread. One leg is held on by two large safety pins. Measures approximately: 22" tall...$22.50 Plus shipping and insurance PATTERN ID #B-fred e. bear

Pumpkin Pie Bear
Just look at this little face and body covered with the "inners" of the pumpkin (and yes, those are real pumpkin seeds all over him). My fur bear has been firmly stuffed and then was drenched with coffee. He has safety lock eyes and an embroidered nose. My 8-section stuffed pumpkin has been coffee stained, painted, shaded, sanded, and varnished. The hat/lid has been distressed the same way and has a twig from the woods for the stem. My unique style of crow with his wire feet is perched on the pumpkin. It also has been painted, sanded, and varnished. It wears a raffia bow with a squash bead attached. "Punkin Pie" is holding a garden stack in his hand. I used a reproduction of a vintage Halloween card to create the seed packet.
Measures approximately: 14 1/2" tall, and 14" wide from paw to paw....$55.00 S/H/I PATTERN ID #B-pumpkin pie bear

Pilgrim Couple, Miles & Elinor
Miles started his autumn day out early. He had not walked far into the woods when he spotted the turkey. He took steady aim with his muzzle loader.....food for the other pilgrims at the feast. While Miles was hunting, Mary too was busy. She had gathered up some flowers and other dries to decorate the table. She knows that this nice large pumpkin she spotted in the garden will make pies and breads for their meal.
Both of these fur bears have been firmly stuffed and drenched in coffee. They have safety lock eyes and embroidered noses. Mile's and Ellinor's outfits are made from a tiny blue/black check cotton fabric. Osnaborg fabric is used for her bonnet, apron, and cuffs and for his collar and cuffs. His hat is made from black stiffen felt and has a wooden buckle. All fabrics have been distressed in coffee. Miles is holding his muzzle loader, which I cut with my scroll saw, out of a 3/8" piece of pine. The turkey is held in his other paw. Ellinor has to use both paws to carry this large pumpkin which has been distressed and sprinkled with cinnamon. On her shoulder she carries a cornucopia which holds her picks of the early morning, and is strapped on with a piece of raffia. These two look great standing, (stands are included) or they look equally nice sitting.
Measures approximately: 21" tall, and 14" wide from paw to paw...$89.00 plus S/H/I PATTERN ID #B-pilgrims bear
SOLD OUT, e-mail to place an order.
